The Institute of Mining Engineers of Chile, in its ongoing mission to promote the search for best practices in the mining industry, is organizing the Copper Smelters Seminar and has the pleasure to invite you to participate and/or author a presentation in the seminar, to be held on October 23rd and 24th, at Club de Campo Coya, Rancagua city.

During the Seminar the following topics will be addressed:

• New Environmental Regulations
• Energy Consumption in Copper Smelters
• Cost of Production and its relationship with Treatment and Refining Charges (TC/RC) market
• Emissions Capture and Abatement Technologies
• Research and Development in Copper Smelters
• Gas Handling and Acid Plants
